On 28.3.2016, the Labor branch of the Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Services announced a change in the procedure for dismissal, work scope or income reduction under the Employment of Women Law, 1954, which prohibits dismissal, work scope or income reduction of an employee in special circumstances.
