Biography

Adv. Michael Heller specializes in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and emerging growth companies of all shapes and sizes. He represents a broad array of start-up companies in their day-to-day legal and business activities.

Michael represents top-tier venture capital funds in Israel and abroad in a wide variety of private equity financings. Since 1997 when he arrived in Israel, he has handled a vast array of equity and debt financing transactions, many of which involved complex secondary transactions, capital restructuring, reorganizations and spin-offs.

Michael represents hi-tech start-up companies from their early stages, and advises them on all legal, business and commercial activities, including corporate governance, finance, commercial, employment, compensation and intellectual property matters. He advises companies from a wide array of industries and provides continuous consulting to entrepreneurs and company founders regarding their ongoing and evolving relations with their companies, as well as matters relating to company formation, recruitment of service providers, compensation matters, shareholder relations, financing and complex restructuring. He plays an active role in helping companies tackle daily challenges in all aspects of their operations and business.

Michael is ranked as one of the highly recommended venture capital and hi-tech attorneys in Israel by the international guides Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500.

From 1991 to 1993, Michael served as an associate at Ervin, Cohen & Jessup LLP, Beverly Hills, California. From 1993 to 1997, he served as an associate at Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal LLP, Chicago, Illinois (now part of the Dentons firm).
