Adv. Liat Faig-Neuwirth possesses significant experience in the tax field and unique expertise in the areas of indirect tax and value added tax.
Liat has extensive experience in planning and advising on transactions; managing proceedings before the tax authorities (handling tax decisions, special arrangements and rulings, as well as audits and assessments); and providing complex opinions and ongoing advice regarding the optimization of business activities and management.
She provides ongoing legal counsel in tax related areas to a wide variety of leading Israeli and international companies operating in various sectors, including real estate, retail, communications, industry, finance, capital markets and more.
Alongside her professional activities, Liat serves in several official positions at the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel, including Vice President, Co-Chairperson of the Business Sectors Committee and a member of other committees. She also serves as Chairperson of the VAT and Customs Committee at the Israel Bar Association. In addition, she lectures in seminars organized by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel, the Israel Bar Association and other forums, and publishes articles on tax related subjects.
Liat previously led the Indirect Tax Department in the PwC accounting firm.
