Adv. Ido Amir’s practice focuses on Payments and Digital Financial Services, where he provides strategic legal counsel to banks, card issuers and acquirers, payments and financial institutions, fintechs, and other key participants in the payments ecosystem. His expertise encompasses both financial regulatory and commercial aspects.
Ido has extensive experience and a deep understanding of both traditional and innovative payment solutions. He has been involved in major transactions in this field, including card processing agreements, open banking and payment initiation, pay-apps, digital wallets, domestic and international payment schemes, and card loyalty programs. Additionally, Ido is highly experienced in financial licensing matters and represents clients before regulatory and governmental authorities, including the bank of Israel and the Israel Securities Authority.

Prior to joining the firm, he served for more than 7 years with the Military Advocate General of the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), holding several legal positions, including Head Legal Counsel of the Home Front Command.
