Biography

Adv. Gerson Rotschild has 30 years of experience in the fields of real estate, planning and construction, and infrastructures. He handles the drafting of legal guidelines and provides legal guidance in the establishment of projects involving municipal infrastructures in various local authorities, establishment of public buildings, preparation of tenders for real estate transactions, transactions involving sales and leases of property owned by local authorities and other various real estate transactions, including urban renewal projects.
Gerson provides ongoing legal advice to local authorities and municipal corporations, as well as legal guidance and advice in various real estate and planning and construction proceedings for local authorities and private bodies, including handling legal proceedings before appeal committees for planning and construction and the various court instances in administrative proceedings. His department has been ranked among the top local authorities’ departments in Israel.
In addition, Gerson provides legal guidance and advice in tender law proceedings, construction of sports stadiums and arenas, housing buildings in Tel Aviv, parks, restaurants and more- including representation in legal proceedings before the administrative court instances.
In the field of court arbitration, Gerson handles litigation cases in judiciaries and arbitrations, including breaches of combination agreements, expropriation compensation lawsuits, depreciation of real estate, violation of construction contracts and contracting projects, lawsuits for partnership disbandment and more.
Gerson served as a Colonel in the IDF, is a graduate of the U.S. Army Signal & Communication Center, and also served as a reserve in the IDF Telecommunications Division. He is a judge for the “Tzevet” IDF Veterans of War Association and a member of the board of directors in the Association for the perpetuation of the Heritage of the Communication and ICT Corps. In his past, Gerson served as a review director in the State Comptroller Department in the field of Defense Industries in Israel.
Gershon completed his internship in the Magistrate Court in Herzliya as well as at Nathan Meir & Co.
