Adv. Dafna Lotan Medvejer has extensive professional experience in the commercial insurance practice, both locally and internationally and specializes in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) for corporations.
Dafna brings significant professional expertise and years of practice in managing complex multinational insurance programs, managing insurance claims and negotiating policies’ terms and conditions with local and global insurers.
Dafna specializes in consulting to corporations in respect of best practices insurance coverage, including Directors and Officers insurance, Professional Liability / Errors & Omissions insurance, Cyber liability insurance, Representations and Warranties insurance for M&A deals, Property and Casualty insurances, insurance for complex construction projects, Financial insurances, Credit insurance and more. In addition, she advises corporations in respect of insurance aspects in commercial agreements, supports due diligence processes in M&A transactions and advise to insureds throughout insurance claims.
Dafna also has vast experience in managing Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) programs, based on international best practices methodologies for mapping and managing strategic, operational, financial and regulatory risks. Dafna advises companies’ managements, audit committees and board of directors throughout the implementation of Enterprise Risk Management programs.
Among Dafna’s clientele are a variety of leading Israeli and international corporations from a wide array of sectors, including real estate, retail, communications, technology, manufacturing, finance, capital markets, life science and more.
Dafna previously served as head of Risk Management and Insurance for the Amdocs Group. She managed the group’s global insurance programs in Israel, North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America, as well as the group’s Enterprise Risk Management program and the company’s Credit Worthiness practice. In addition, prior to her tenure in Amdocs, Dafna served in various senior underwriting positions in Israeli leading insurance companies.
