Last week, the Knesset discussed a proposed law – the Employment Contract Law (Restrictions on the Termination of an Employee’s Employment), 2021. The bill seeks to regulate the issue of employment restrictions and non-compete clauses in employment agreements, clauses that have been criticized by the labor courts throughout the years, and which were reduced and restricted with many conditions by the rulings.
