Congratulations to our client, the Israel Postal Company, on the successful completion of its privatization process.
We were proud to be a significant part of the company’s historic recovery and privatization process, during which the Israel Post Company was privatized for NIS 461 million.
This is the first full privatization carried out by the State of Israel in many years, and a significant achievement for the entire Israeli market.
Our firm advised the Israel Post Company throughout the entire process, which included preparing a detailed description of the company’s activities for the bidders in the tender, consulting in the preparation of procedures and internal enforcement plans, handling interfaces with the Government Companies Authority and other critical aspects.
The privatization process was accompanied over the years by various teams in our firm, and in the final stages it was managed by partner Yaron Herman, Head of the Telecom Regulation Practice, Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions Department, alongside Bar Avital, Matan Kaddar, Guy Gershon, Rotem Helbitz, Zvi Gilboa and Dan Kahane, and many other team members across our firm who contributed to the success of the process.
