How to Reduce Exposure in International Shipping and Forwarding

March 20, 2022

A lecture at a Manufacturers’ Association conference by Adv. Gil Nadel, Vice Head of our Tax Department and Head of the Import, Export and International Trade Practice:
Exporting and importing products naturally requires the assistance of various logistical factors.
When damages are caused as part of the transport, the question arises as to who is responsible for paying those damages. The damages can be loss of goods, physical damage to the goods, as well as indirect damages, such as: late arrival of the cargo, loss of profits, damage to reputation and more.
In the meeting we will discuss these issues in relation to the entire chain of transport and customs clearance and will suggest ways and solutions to reduce exposure.
